Youlgrave Village Show
After a gap of nine years, Youlgrave Show is back!
The village’s much-loved and long-standing horticultural show will take place at Youlgrave Village Hall on Saturday 14th September 2024 and everyone is welcome – whether to exhibit your prize fruit and veg, show off your kitchen skills or handiwork, or simply come along and be part of an enjoyable community event.
Planning for this year’s event is well underway. Anyone will be able to submit entries to Show, irrespective of where they live, and as usual with local Shows there will be a small fee per entry and prizes awarded by independent judges. The provisional schedule with this year’s classes is shown below, so you can start planning what to grow or make in the months ahead, but note that this might be subject to slight change. We will keep you posted with the latest news through regular updates in The Bugle.
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help out in, either in the run-up to the big day or covering particular tasks over the Show weekend. We will be in touch with you all again in due course.
The Schedule with this year’s classes is shown below, as well as the event timetable and rules. They may be subject to slight change, so look out for further news and updates, again, in The Bugle.
If you want to contact the Show’s organising group or help out in any way, please email youlgraveshow@outlook.com or call Edwina Cant on 07772 019385.
